    Shape an idea or script

    The planned starting points are an idea, source text or an existing script. Creators review the proposed structure and creative plan before expanding them into sections and shots.

    Connect references to a storyboard

    Shot cards are being designed around character, setting, prop, style and sound references. Each card holds the shot's intent and references for per-shot revision, without requiring a node-based canvas.

    Compare candidates and choose shots

    Batch candidate generation, individual shot changes and retries are planned. Creators choose which version to keep; regeneration should not silently replace an approved shot.

    Move from rough cut to reviewed export

    The intended flow assembles approved shots into a rough cut, followed by basic trimming, subtitle and audio edits. Creators review visuals, pacing and content labels before deciding that a video is ready to export.

The desktop-first direction prioritizes local projects and media, with a basic timeline, subtitles, audio and export review in development. Local-first does not mean fully offline: cloud models may still require network access to transfer inputs and results.

Is MiseTV only for AI short dramas?

No. MiseTV is intended for general video creation. Content type informs the structure and default fields rather than limiting the product. Independent creators, professionals and small production teams are target users; this does not imply real-time collaboration in the first version.

How is MiseTV intended to turn a script into a storyboard?

The intended workflow organizes a script into sections, expands them into shot cards and attaches references such as characters and settings. Creators can edit cards, reorder shots, compare candidates and approve selections before editing.

How does its direction differ from a single-clip generator?

MiseTV's development scope includes structure and references before generation, plus candidate selection, basic editing and export review afterward. The aim is to retain decisions and revisions across a video project, not just return a generated clip. Production results still need further validation.

Does local-first desktop use mean it works entirely offline?

No. Local-first prioritizes local project and media resources. Cloud models, account features and other cloud services may still require a connection, and cloud generation may upload relevant inputs. Supported connections and availability will be described in future release information.
